Creatures from the tales of the Australian Aborigines people. According to them, when they first arrived on the island, there were a race of humanoid creatures that were covered in fur, had no neck and had broad shoulder. They ranged from being 5 - 14ft tall. The Aborigines killed off these creatures or drove them back to the border. This was easily accomplished because the Yowie had no weapons.
