A type of Dragon from medieval folklore. The Wyvern had the body of a serpent with the wings of a bat with only two forelegs and a long tail that ended in a dart-like point. The Wyvern is symbolic of pestilence, spite and warfare and it uses these powers to protect whoever wears its emblem.
