A creature from the traditions of the Mosquitoe tribe of the Caraibes people form Honduras in Central America. It was a horse-shaped creature with long fangs. It lived in the waters but emerged to hunt human prey during the hot summer months. It has been seen during the hot months prowling the hills for its next meal. When it rained, the Whiwin would slip back into its watery abode.
