Birds of North America that have the power to create thunder and cause havoc between forces and beings. They are very popular among many tribes. One Thunderbird of the Iroquois people is Oshadagea meaning ‘Dew Eagle’. Another Thunderbird is Keneun, the leader of the Thunderbirds that stole the fire from the great hare Manabusch.
