Creatures from the folklore of the Coeur d’Alene Native Americans. These were a race of people who wore nothing but buffalo skins and smelt extremely bad. When humans wandered in their territory, they transformed into trees until the humans left. However it is said that if you stare at a Stcemqestcint in the form of a tree long enough, then the Stcemqestcint would remain as a tree.
