Water Nymphs from eastern European belief. They have the appearance of beautiful women with tails and translucent skin. They can be seen sunbathing on rocks and branches by pools singing beautiful song to attract young men. They lead young men to the waters where they suck them down. If no men are around they will attempt young children into the waters with fruit and nuts only to kill the children. The Rusalki are said to be the spirits of drowned girls like Lorelei and they have the ability to transform into horses and other water creatures.
