A class of Ghoul from the Tamil region of Sri Lanka. They are the female forms. Males are known as Pey. They are the assistants to Yama of the underworld and come up to the Earth’s surface to feed on humans. They are described as looking like people but with shaggy hair. When they come out of the underworld, they seek areas where conflict or battle has taken place. There, they suck all the blood from the wounds of the living and injured killing them.
