A famous sea monster of the Loch Ness in Scotland. It has an eel-like head on a large 30ft long body with humps. However some sources state that the Loch Ness Monster is 40 - 50 ft in length. Many believe that it is female. Some scientists believe that it may have been an existing Plesiosaur dinosaur. It was sighted as early as the 6^th century. In 565 CE a man was attacked and killed by the monster. At his burial, the Irish Saint Columbia who was presiding over the event claimed that he saw the 'Niseag' (the Celtic name for the Loch Ness Monster). In subsequent centuries the Loch Ness Monster has been seen many times. The most frequent sighting took place in the Summer of 1933. A couple named Mr. and Mrs. Spicer where returning from a trip to London when they saw a monster cross the road. They said that it had an animal in its jaws which it too back to the lake and submerged underwater.
