Jump-at-a-Body is a small mammalian creature from the stories of the North American lumberjacks of the late 19th century and early 20th century. This beast looked like a small cub or lion. It hides in the undergrowth and when one least expects it, the beast will run out and charge its victim. However the animal stops a few yards in front of its victim. It gives a roar and then runs back to where it came from. The Jump-at-a-Body has never been reported to hurt anyone.
