Dragons (common type)
A Dragon of Mesopotamia that had many heads. It is told of in two stories of both which it was killed in different ways. In one the Dragon attacked the gods encircling them and taking their hearts and eyes. One of the gods called Taru persuaded the Dragon’s daughter to fall in love with him and then asked her to bring back the hearts and eyes as gifts. When she did this the gods had their powers restored and rose up as one and killed it. The other story tells of how the Dragon was invited to a party where it became bloated and drunk. The god Innaras and his partner seized the moment and bound him with chains. Captured and defenseless, the god Taru slew the beast.
