Known as ‘Grandfather’ and ‘Twisted Face’, this was a Giant from the beliefs of the Iroquois Native Americans. He had a long distorted face with huge eyebrows. He has a twisted nose and mouth that naturally reveal his mangled fangs. The story tells how Haduigona believed that he was the creator of the World. However the actual Creator came from the far right side of the mountain encountered Haduigona. Both of them argued which one created the World until they agreed to end this dispute over a contest. Both of them sat with their backs towards the mountains at quite a distance and aimed to move the mountains towards them with their miracle powers. Haduigona moved the mountains a small distance but Creator moved them all the way. Surprised, Haduigona turned around at the oncoming mountain which smashed him in his face making it twisted. This is how he got his appearance. Impressed by the Giants powers, Creator asked if Haduigona would help him heal the World. Haduigona agreed but insisted that everyone should call him Grandfather and offer him tobacco.
