According to the Book of Genesis, Cain was the first murderer. He had daughters which over time turned from beautiful to hideous and ugly looking creatures. Their descendents were women who married Noah’s grandsons. The children of Noah’s grandsons and Cain’s descendents were monsters and Giants. The original flood that Noah escaped was believed to have wiped out all the Giants of the world. According to Rabelais the French author, one Giant called Hurtaly escaped by living on the roof of Noah’s Ark.
