With a lion’s body and the head of a wolf this Ethiopian wolf would devour all beasts by perfectly imitating their sounds to lure them in. It had a frightening fixed stare, as it could not move its eyes. It had long sharp bones instead of teeth, which gave its power to crush anything in its mouth. It preyed upon both humans and cattle and hid in the thick of the scrubland.
