A fierce Water Horse of Wales. It is grey and surrounded by a mist. In some versions it is winged. Ceffyl Dwr kills its victims by ambushing them out of the water and strangling them with it’s for legs. If it fails to strangle them, the horse will trample its victim to death. If slain, its body will disappear leaving only slime behind. If anyone tries to ride the Ceggyl Dwr, the beast will turn into a swirling mist.
