A Siberian version of Bigfoot- said to be like man but covered with red, brown or black fur. One account described it as having long arms. In the mid nineteenth century, an Alma called Zanya was captured. It mated with several humans and mothered six children of which four survived. One Russian tried to find the remains of Zanya but could only find the remains of the offspring. It is believed by modern scientists that the Alma could have been a living descendent of Neanderthal man.
