Abaddon is a Demon from ancient Hebraic scriptures. It is said that he will rise on Judgement Day and command an army of locusts. His name means ‘to Destroy’. Moses calls upon Abaddon to bring down a devastating rain that kills men, cattle and flock. Some believe that Abaddon is a place rather than a demonic being.
The name Apollyon is the Greek name for Abaddon.
