Aardvark is an ant bear that is known for its fearlessness from African mythology. Hausa magicians grind parts of the Aardvark such as the heart, forehead, skin and nails together with the root of an unknown tree to create enchanted items. Such enchanted items worn on the chest wrapped in skin allows the owner to pass through roofs and walls at night. It is said that thieves use it to steal little girls.
